Affiliate commissions are the only revenue source. When you click through to a retailer from a product page and make a purchase, the retailer may pay RDNA.app a percentage of the sale through an affiliate network. You pay the same price whether you arrive via our link or directly. The commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
AWIN
Primary affiliate network. Covers UK and European cycling retailers including Wiggle, Chain Reaction Cycles, Rapha, Castelli, and others.
CJ Affiliate
Secondary network. Covers additional retailers not available on AWIN.
Amazon Associates
Products available on Amazon link through the Amazon Associates programme. Amazon has specific disclosure requirements: as an Amazon Associate, RDNA.app earns from qualifying purchases.
Every product that links to a retailer through an affiliate network is marked. On search results and product pages, affiliated retailer links route through rdna.app/api/affiliate/[id] which logs the click and redirects to the retailer. Non-affiliated products link directly to the manufacturer or retailer without any tracking parameter.
The search results footer includes a standing affiliate disclosure on every page where product links are displayed.
Many products in the catalog have no affiliate link. These products are displayed with the same scores, the same ranking treatment, and the same visibility as affiliated products. Where no affiliate link exists, the product links to the manufacturer website or the best available retailer without any tracking. RDNA.app earns nothing from these clicks. They are included because removing them would contradict the platform's core commitment to showing what the community recommends, not what pays.
Commission rates vary by retailer and product category, typically between 3% and 12%. We do not publish specific commission rates per retailer because they change frequently and are subject to network terms. What we can confirm: commission rates are never used as a scoring input, ranking signal, or visibility factor. If a retailer offered 0% commission tomorrow, their products would still appear with the same scores.
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on affiliate marketing. If you have questions about our affiliate relationships, email hello@rdna.app.
